Habitat

Utricularia jamesoniana is an epiphytic carnivorous plant that grows on moss-covered trees in humid tropical and montane forests of Central and South America.

Cultivation

Not the easiest little plant. I've experimented with multiple pot designs, keeping in mind that they often grow in moss on tree trunks. Moist substrate but not too wet, a mix of bark, sphagnum, possibly some peat and perlite.

Eventually I also made a custom pot that you can 3D print yourself. You can find this for personal use on Printables if you search for this number: 1533074

This ultimately works great and they flower regularly. Maintenance is minimal, sits in a water tray without any further special attention.

Flowering Period

From time to time throughout the year, once the plant is settled in.
