Description
Utricularia delicatula is a very small, terrestrial vesicular herb species found in New Zealand. The plant remains unobtrusively small and blooms with fine, light lilac to whitish flower net above the substrate.

Habitat
Coastal to lowland veins, in open places and especially on bare, newly exposed peat soil, but also growing between liver mosses and Sphagnum. On Chatham Island, the species has been found on peaty soils along streamsides, and in similar bogs on rocky plateaus exposed to sea mist and sometimes even wave action.
